The Whole Health Plan

The Whole Health Plan provides members an HSA (Health Savings Account) and PWA (Personal Wellness Account) option. Visit the WFM Enrollment Guide for more information on these two choices offered by WFM.

What are the main differences between HSA and PWA?

Health Savings Account (HSA):

  • Significant cost savings at all Whole Health Primary Care Network locations for primary care services.  HSA members receive free primary care services as Whole Health Primary Care Network locations after their yearly deductible is met
  • HSA members receive low-cost visit rates with our Virtual Urgent Care Partner. After deductible is met, receive free Urgent Care Services with our Core of Care Virtual Urgent Care partner.

Personal Wellness Account (PWA):

  • Free Care at all Whole Health Primary Care Network locations, including preventive and all other primary care visits.
  • Free Urgent Care Services with our Core of Care Virtual Urgent Care partner.

Whole Health Plan Pharmacy Benefits

Your Pharmacy Benefits Manager, Prime Therapeutics, provides you with a list of drugs selected for WHP members.

Core Formulary – A list of generic and prescription drugs covered under the Whole Health Plan. The Whole Health Plan’s Core Formulary contains a wide range of effective medications at the lowest possible cost. Prescription drugs filled outside the formulary may not be covered under the Whole Health Plan.
 
ACA Drug List – A list of prescription drugs covered at 100% by the Whole Health Plan, as required by the Affordable Care Act. All prescription drugs on the ACA Drug List are contained within Whole Health Plan’s Core Formulary.
 
Expanded Drug List –  A list of prescription drugs that includes the ACA Drug List plus an expanded list of preventive prescription drugs provided to treat the most common illnesses. Members have access to the expanded drug list for a lower cost if they establish care with the Whole Health Plan. Please refer to the 2024 Annual Enrollment Guide for expanded prescription benefit information. All prescription drugs on the Expanded Drug List are contained within Whole Health Plan’s Core Formulary.
